FAQs
Does Hunan have a dress code?
No, Hunan does not have a dresscode. Most of our guests dress in a smart-casual fashion, but there is no restriction. Feel free to wear whatever you feel comfortable in.
What is the difference between the lunch and dinner menu?
Although we offer a tasting meal both for lunch and dinner, there are some differences. At lunchtime, we serve a 12-course menu at £69.80 per person. Some of the dishes are not available during the afternoon as they need a longer preparation time, such as dumplings and some seafood. We recommend to calculate with a 2-hour sitting at lunchtime.
Dinner costs £119.80 per person for an (at least) 18-course meal. Most sittings are 2.5 hours, unless you arrive with a larger party.
Is Hunan pet-friendly?
Unfortunately, as a small restaurant, Hunan is unable to accommodate pets. Service animals are of course welcome.
I have a special diet. Can Hunan cater for me?
Yes, we are able to accommodate all sorts of dietary requirements. We kindly ask you to let us know in advance if you have a severe allergy, so we can prepare accordingly. We have catered for coeliac, dairy intolerant, low-carb, vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, halal diners before.
Can I bring my own wine?
Yes, we offer corkage at £60 per 750 ml.
What is the latest sitting at Hunan?
